Impact Plus Thermal Underlay
Thermal & Acoustic Underlay for Laminate and Wood Floors
Impact Plus Thermal Underlay is designed for use beneath 150W Aluminium Foil Underfloor Heating Systems .
It is the recommended insulation under standard laminate and engineered wood flooring.
The underlay improves heating efficiency while providing a stable and level base for floating floors.
Its closed-cell foam construction creates a cushioned underlay effect underfoot.
This cushioning helps protect the heating system and reduces floor movement.
The material reduces downward heat loss through the subfloor.
It also provides acoustic insulation to reduce noise between rooms and floors.
A self-adhesive option is available for quicker and cleaner installation.
The adhesive backing improves contact with the subfloor for better heat transfer.
A standard non-adhesive version remains available.
Suitable for laminate and engineered wood flooring (8mm or thicker).
Designed to protect aluminium foil heating systems from compression and damage.
Note: For LVT, Karndean, or vinyl flooring, use XPS Thermal Board Insulation .
