Our 150W/m² foil underfloor heating mat is made for laminate, engineered wood and LVT. It installs dry over our insulation, with no adhesive or levelling compound, and the aluminium foil spreads the heat evenly across the floor. Sold by area from 0.5m² to 30m², on its own or with a thermostat, with a 15-year warranty.

Can I use a foil mat under tiles?
No. Foil mats are for laminate, engineered wood and LVT. For tiles and stone, use our mesh heating mats.
What size foil mat do I need?
Measure the usable floor, leaving out fitted units and anything that stands flush on the floor. For primary heating, cover 80 to 90% of it.
Do I need adhesive or levelling compound?
No. The foil mat installs dry, so it’s quick and clean, and ideal for renovations.
Can it go under a floating floor?
Yes. It’s designed to go under floating laminate and engineered wood floors.
Is it waterproof?
The foil mat has an IPX7 waterproof rating.
