What You Need to Know – Technical Overview
The Wi5 handles heating loads up to 16 amps (3600 watts).
For larger areas or higher loads, install a relay or contactor, or split the system into zones with additional thermostats.
Always connect the thermostat to a dedicated power supply from the main consumer unit and protect it with an appropriate RCD at the fuse board or within the underfloor heating power supply.
