Under Carpet Heating Duo overlay boards
Duo overlay boards are for use when fitting vinyl or low tog carpet directly over our 150w foil underfloor heating systems. Vinyl & Carpet is easy to penetrate, and the duo overlay adds a solid layer to protect the heating. And provide a solid floor ready for the final floor covering. Furthermore, it removes the need for an underlay. Each 0.72m2 pack comes as a 600 x 1200 x 6mm pack consisting of two 600 x 1200 x 3mm layers, with a high adhesion double-sided tape to fix them together.
Duo Overlay Under Carpet and Vinyl Heating Protective Cover
Allows the installer to fit a suitable vinyl. Please see our under vinyl heating guides for types of suitable vinyl flooring. Laid directly over the foil without the need for any other additional protective layers.
Constructed from 2 x 3mm boards. The two layers are staggered so no joints align and are held together with a high adhesion double-sided tape. Tape is supplied with the duo overlay boards. Furthermore, the boards are laid directly over the heating system. And once fitted they protect the heating below. And provide a hard smooth layer ready for the flooring to be fitted over.
