Living heat Underfloor heating

Now has there web site up and running, and have deiced to now start a blog to discuss different issues and to ask questions and have discussions with our customers as to if and how we could improve our service and our contribution to our community and it's economic health.

so as you may know we are based in Torquay, on barton road we share the building with another child company (Roma heating for the trade side of the business) and a parent company (The house of Tiles & Elite ceilings).

all to which we try and hold to the same high standards as we do with living heat. So as with most businesses we would really appreciate some feedback about us good or the rarely found bad, the good feedback allows us to continue exactly the way we wish to promote our company and the rarely found bad feedback allows us to grow as a company and offer a much more professionally personal services where customers would be happy to return.

so if you have the time and are willing to offer us some feedback it would be greatly appreciated.

please feel free to contact us.

interestingly enough if you are putting heating into an extension to your house the first thing that may sway you to the use of underfloor heating, is that fact that if you wish to install a radiator you need to apply for planning permission have annual servicing add on labour costs and consider placement which may take up precious room and count as an eye sore, however with underfloor heating you do not require any of this and it removes it self from the room and places it underneath your feet for luxurious comfort.

Uk Go ahead for nuclear programme

october 11th, 2011

The Fukushima disaster provides no reason to restrict UK nuclear reactors or stop building new ones, the official nuclear regulator has concluded. The government will press ahead with plans to establish the Office of Nuclear Regulation (ONR) as a self-standing entity.

Dr Weightman intends to produce a further report in a year's time, to evaluate how far the industry has moved on the recommendations he has made.

Chris Huhne, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, thanked the chief inspector for his work.

"The report makes clear that the UK has one of the best nuclear safety regimes in the world, and that nuclear power can go on powering homes and businesses across the UK, as well as supporting jobs," he said.

"We must however continue to improve where we can, not just with operating power stations and new sites, but by dealing with our nuclear legacy in a robust and effective manner too."

nuclear power holds allot of potential for a future stable clean source of energy, the advancement of this field in our views could be very beneficial to the entire world, but there is a concern of it's safety and miss use but in our opinion to cage and suppress a technology that is already there however un harnessed it may be ! is a grave mistake as a general rule of thumb you push it "underground" and in an un regulated environment this technology can be very dangerous.

Ultraviolet light causing cold winters ?

Recent cold winters in the UK and other places in northern Europe may have their roots in the Sun's varying ultraviolet emissions.

The researchers emphasise there is no impact on global warming.

The Sun has recently been in a quiet phase of its regular 11-year cycle, which co-incided with three years in which the UK, along with other places in northern Europe and parts of the US, experienced cold conditions unusual in the recent record.

But unusually warm weather was felt both further south, around the Mediterranean Sea, and further north in Canada and Greenland.

"The key point is that this effect is a change in the circulation, moving air from one place to another, which is why some places get cold and others get warm," said Adam Scaife, one of the researchers on the paper, who heads the UK Met Office's Seasonal to Decadal Prediction team.

"It's a jigsaw puzzle, and when you average it up over the globe, there is no effect on global temperatures," he told BBC News.
